Plenty of tension and conflict
I thoroughly enjoyed this book.
It was the first book I have read from the UK’s perspective of life in the military during the 80’s.
I felt annoyed of the archaic rules, protecting who knows what from whom, when it wasn’t even a crime. It made me angry, and a good storyteller makes you feel these emotions.
The characters were believable, and I was rooting for them throughout. There was plenty of tension, conflict and intrigue.

Wow, can’t wait to read more from this author. This was such a great story – well written – excellent characters and such interesting history of how women in the services were treated/judged in those times.
